Black Women in Metal, Hardcore and Punk" by Laina Dawes and also in the upcoming book "Not Bad For For A Girl" by Dr. Lisa. Her songs have been featured on several of the Black Rock Coalition's digital compilations and received placements on mystery and horror novel promotional commercials. Pat, Doug and Andy Reeves have balanced working in the fields of Baldwinsville, NY. during the day and honing their craft at night in their family barn and their commitment to their music has begun to pay off. Loud, Fast, and Fun!! The Cuts bring old school punk into a new light. With Mohawk Dave on Guitar and lead vocals, and Bre Plaza on drums and vocals this band is a force to be reckoned with!! The Sky is the limit, and the future is bright.
The most prominent message that The Cuts are set out to convey is that you should never give up, no matter what life throws at you. There is always going to be pain and heartache in life, and in turn there will always be a killer party to go get your drink on, and friends to pull you through the worst of it. The Cuts are real, and this is life, so grab a drink and enjoy the ride!
Now some people say that “Punk is Dead.” The Cuts are taking that statement, cutting it up and throwing it back in their faces. They are single handedly redefining it….”OK, fine. They wanna say Punk’s dead? So we’re dead? Fuck ‘em! GO TEAM DEAD! Just try and stop us, we're here to stay!
Join Us... Team Dead!"
